Rejection of Turkish residency application
Due to the recent strictures of the Turkish Immigration Department, the residence files of many compatriots have been rejected. The question is, how should I file my complaint in this situation and what should we do to avoid getting into trouble?
If the residence application is rejected, the applicant will have sixty days from the date of issuance of the letter to initiate the legal process.
If you intend to appeal and re-apply, you must honestly state the conditions, including:
- The applicant must have a place of residence, valid health insurance, financial ability to cover her expenses, etc.
- The applicant must submit the documents required to apply for a residence permit by the deadline.
- The applicant has applied for a residence permit within the prescribed period.
If your application is denied and you wish to file an appeal, you must complete the commission evaluation form that your attorney will give you. After completing the form, you must write why your application should not have been rejected and that you had sufficient documents. The written text must be translated by an official translator and sent to the immigration office.
In case of final rejection, you can stay in Turkey until the validity of the residence permit expires, and then you must leave Turkey within ten days.
If your stay is rejected and you receive a rejection SMS, you have ten days from the time of the official written notification from the Immigration Department to leave.
Note that the notification must be translated by an official translator or done at the official time.
Iranian citizens are allowed to stay in Turkey for 90 days without the need for a visa. Therefore, you can stay in Turkey for a specified period of time (90 days). But if you have exceeded the maximum number of days that allows you to stay in Turkey, you must leave Turkey within ten days after receiving the notification.
